The workshop will include speakers from Queensland Police Service, the Office of Adult Guardian, and the JP Branch.  Other features will be an interactive session and an open forum prior to the close of the meeting.  There will be a lucky door prize kindly donated by Dr Christian Rowan, the Member for Moggill who will give an address, and morning tea will be provided.

Topics covered by speakers will include:

• Police Production Notices
• The role of the Adult Guardian and awareness of elder abuse
• Common errors and pitfalls in acting as a volunteer JP or Cdec.

All JPs and Cdecs are welcome, whether you are newly qualified or have had years of experience.

The attendance fee will be $10 for QJA members and $15 for others.  To register, sign in as a member or create a customer ID.
